Summary: Patient Recall has 2 main features: Upcoming Due messages remind patients who are due for a routine appointment in the next month to schedule one when they are not already on the calendar. Past Due messages reminds patients who are now past due for a routine appointment to schedule one. Below you will find a timeline of when the patient recall messages are sent, what they look like, and where to track who was contacted.
Timing: The Upcoming Due notifications are automatically sent out to all patients that are due for a routine appointment in 30 days and do not have an appointment already scheduled. The Past Due notifications are sent the day after the due date for all patients that do not have an appointment already scheduled
Content: Below is a Past Due message. The patient is being instructed to text or call the practice to reschedule the appointment. The Upcoming Due message is very similar.
Practice Experience: You are able to monitor all patients that are contacted with the notifications by clicking on the 'Patient Recall' module. You are able to see all outgoing messages, and any responses in the Patient Communicator module.
